    1. Open the Messenger app and tap your profile photo in the upper left corner.

    2. Scroll down to tap Legal and Policies to open the Legal & Policies tab, then deactivate Messenger.

    How do you delete messages from Facebook Messenger

    Step 1. If you wish to erase an entire conversation, hold down on the conversation. Or, If you’re an iOS user, move from left to right and then select the red Trash Container. We’re aware that it’s possible to accidentally delete a conversation.
